Os ingleses parecem ter gostado mesmo do Black Country Communion, o supergrupo formado por Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath), Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Derek Sherinian (ex-Dream Theater) e Joe Bonamassa. Numa votação anual da rádio Planet Rock, especializada em classic rock, o grupo faturou o prêmio em duas categorias - Banda do Ano e Melhor Banda Nova - e Bonamassa ficou com a escolha de Show do Ano e Guitar Hero de 2010. O grupo ainda foi o terceiro colocado como Álbum do Ano. A votação acontece tradicionalmente no mês de dezembro, pelos ouvintes da rádio inglesa, atavés do site oficial.
