Caixa especial do Iced Earth foi lançado nos EUA semana passada

Na última terça-feira, 18, foi o lançamento nos Estados Unidos de uma caixa especial do Iced Earth. Chamado “Box of the Wicked”, o pacote reúne os álbuns “Framing Armaggedon” e “The Crucible of Man”, além dos EPs “Overture of the Wicked” e “I Walk Among You”, todos em embalagem 'digipack'.

“Box of the Wicked” ainda conta com um CD bônus com quatro músicas: “A Charge to Keep”, regravado com os vocais de Matt Barlow; e três faixas ao vivo gravadas no festival Graspop, na B[elgica, em junho de 2008.

Este lançamento especial e limitado - apenas 10 mil cópias - traz no mesmo pacote o desenrolar da história criada pelo guitarrista Jon Schaffer e iniada com o lançamento de “Something Wicked this Way Comes”, de 1998.

“Os álbuns dão as respostas para os mistérios que lançamentos anteriores criaram e o linha do tempo da história no mundo atual garantem que as pessoas continuem pensando e adivinhando. A capacidade de Schaffer em transmitir os temas e eventos centrais da história, nem sempre revelando exatamente os motivos das decisões dos personagens e como os eventos ocorrem, manterá os fãs da saga ligados, como médiuns para a revelação futura do enredo de ‘Something Wicked’”, explica o release do lançamento.
